Parent Workshop from Silicon Valley Math Initiative:

This is a great opportunity!!! We will be hosting a 4-lesson series of Math training for parents of students in homeschool or independent study.  The purpose is to give parents tools and strategies for engaging and instructing their students in essential mathematical practices for success TK - 12, and to give them confidence in their own mathematical reasoning and number sense.  These trainings are run by the Silicon Valley Math Initiative (SVMI).

These will be held on the following four Thursdays and will be held in room 12 (portable in the lower parking lot):

March 7

April 18

May 23 

Please mark your calendars!  We can accommodate up to 25 people so we're hoping for a full house each time, and for parents to sign up for the full 4-lesson series.
