Variety of voluntary fun activities to do together including math art, exposure to different kinds of logical games, county competitions if wanted - and snacks. At least two levels (2-3 & 4-5; TK-1 iff interest and parent volunteer), and we'll adjust based on who's there and what's working.

11/7/23 Math + PE:
One of the studnts explained the game, and guided as we went. Theyhopped through a hula hoop obstacle path, to do mental math while being quizzed on 20 progressively harder addition, subtraction, and multiplication problems, with gentle time pressure (teammates queuing up3 hops behind). Some involved multiples up to 12, regrouping,odd, and double-digit numbers. Good amount of interest gravitated toit on the playground, and very positive feedback afterwards. This also seems like a game that could grow with the kids' math skills and competitivewishes.
Afterward, some learned about factorial foundations from Moana with manipulative blocks. It's a good lesson and could be extended onfor others so we will likely do a version of it the next meeting, the first Tuesday December 5. We know it's a packed next few months with charter play rehearsal so will be mindful in how we plan, will finish core or all of session before play practice.
