Arrival Time & Parking

Please meet the group at 9:30am in the Concourse right across from the entry to the Museum.


Our prepaid group must enter all together, so we will have to wait until everyone arrives to enter the Museum. Free street parking is a good walk away, and the paid parking lot is $5.25/hour. Please plan ahead, so that everyone is not stuck waiting for your party.  


If you cannot attend for any reason, please let us know by texting or calling Melissa (415-637-4022) as soon as possible, so that we will know we do not need to wait for you.


The Planetarium Show!

Because the students have been making rockets and will be launching them this week, the Planetarium show is on our class theme and one of the main reasons we chose this field trip!

Once we are in the museum, our group will be able to sign up for one of the Planetarium shows, but we will not know which show / time slot we will be able to reserve until we are inside. Please stay with the group at least until we have signed up and know the show time.  


Other Stuff


You can bring a packed lunch or eat at the Cafe inside the museum.


"Please note: Car break-ins are unfortunately common in San Francisco. To reduce your risk, please leave nothing of value in your car, either in the trunk or in plain sight. You can safely store your belongings in an Academy locker for $8."
