Redwood Mountain Faire - SLV Charter Fundraiser
- What
- Redwood Mountain Faire - SLV Charter Fundraiser
- When
- 6/3/2023 – 6/4/2023
A super fun fundraiser! Your participation will make a big difference!
We need as many Quail Hollow parents as possible to fill volunteer shifts. (In the past, our volunteers have sold tickets for drinks and rides, sold band merchandise, or been backstage security guards.) For every shift we can cover, the Faire donates a good chunk of money to our class. All the money we raise will move with us through the class merger to be used for class activities next year.
It's always fun, there's great music, and you get free entry for the whole day! You won't regret volunteering at this event, and it is a super fun way to help support the class! We will let you know when sign-ups open in the coming weeks so you can reserve your shift.

The two types of jobs available:
1) Selling Beverages (21 and over)
This job will include checking IDs, making change, and using a square reader to run credit cards. The shift is usually four hours, and you can attend the faire for free that day. Just check in at the volunteer booth when you arrive to get your wristband. Be sure to be on time to your shift at whichever location you signed up for selling. This is a fun job and the time goes by quickly!

2) The Merch Tent (usually near the main stage)
Bands will be arriving at all different times dropping off their merchandise to sell. You will display and sell their merch. They also return to collect their merch and money at all different times. We are responsible for the cash and merch and only our volunteers are cleared to be in the booth hanging out. If a band member or their employee wants to stay and sell their own merch using their own change, that is fine. Only charter volunteers should have their hands in the charter cashbox. Your shift is 4 hours and you can attend the faire for free that day. Just check in at the volunteer booth when you arrive to get your wristband. Be on time to the booth for your shift. This is a fun job and close to the music.

This festival is such a fun way to make money for our school. Thank you for participating! We will be sending out more specific details to volunteers as the dates get closer. Feel free to email me directly with any questions ([email protected]). Please share this email with incoming families for next year as well. Remember to help promote the faire on social media and with your friends. The better the faire does, the more funds raised for all the local nonprofits.
Looking forward to a very special Redwood Mountain Faire!
